Bigger
than Jesus: challenging 'the truth'
Gay
marriage has brought about wide-spread questioning of religious dogma.
"Raising
questions is more important than answering them," says Rick Miller. "Those
who claim to have answers - to possess 'the Truth'- are, in my humble
opinion, both unwise and dangerous." So
Rick co-created the hit show, Bigger than Jesus, returning to Toronto's
Factory Theatre on Sept. 29 for a "faith equality night".

Marriage
check-up for same-sex couples
In
the years that have passed since the historic 2003 victory for gay marriage,
couples have claimed their human right and shared, with opposite sex couples,
the joys and challenges of marriage. We've already seen the first divorce
of a same-sex marriage, so it is great to know that OAMFT is offering
support through a free marriage checkup.

Freedom
to Marry Day in Canada
As
we celebrate the fourth anniversary of the first legal same-sex marriages
in Canada, we think of gay and lesbian couples who live in areas that
still deny Charter rights. Join the 3rd annual Valentine's Day of actions
and celebrations. If you are in an area that respects rights, celebrate
and give thanks, otherwise, demand access to gay marriage.
